Disclosures
What this site is, what it is not, and where every number on it comes from.

This is not an offer
Nothing on this site is an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security. No part of it is a recommendation to make any investment. Any offering of securities by Georgia Angels or an affiliated entity will be made only through definitive offering documents, delivered to qualified investors, and those documents will govern in full. Where anything on this site differs from them, they win.
Submitting a form does not make you an investor, does not reserve an allocation, and does not commit you or us to anything.
Accreditation is self-attestation here
The investor form asks whether you believe you qualify as an accredited investor. That answer is a screening signal so we know what conversation to have. It is not verification. Verification, where an offering requires it, happens separately and before any offering, through a third party.
Do not submit account statements, tax documents, Social Security numbers, or account numbers through any form on this site. We do not want them, we do not ask for them, and the forms are not built to receive them.
Where the numbers come from
Every figure on this site is published third-party research, and every figure names its source on screen rather than in a tooltip or a footnote. There are no projections on this site. Not conservative ones, not illustrative ones, none.
Each figure also names its geography. A metro Atlanta figure is labelled as metro Atlanta and is never presented as a statewide one. Where a chart shows a range of typical check sizes, the range is illustrative of how capital tends to stack and is not a forecast of any outcome.
Past returns describe the past, and only part of it
Where research on angel investment returns appears anywhere on this site, it describes equity investments in companies that reached an exit. Those figures are gross, before fees, and survivorship biased: the studies observe exits, not the investments that never reached one.
They describe growth ventures only. They do not describe revenue-based financing into an operating business, and they are never presented as a portfolio-wide expectation. No return of any kind is promised, projected or implied anywhere on this site.
Founder Security and the Resilience Fund
Founder Security and the Founder Resilience Fund are programs of Georgia Angels. Both are subject to written program terms, eligibility rules, and available capital. Neither is insurance, and neither is an entitlement. Coverage described on this site means access to programs and arrangements, not a guarantee that any particular benefit will be available to any particular person at any particular time.
Forward-looking statements
Statements on this site about what Georgia Angels intends to do are statements of present intent. Plans change, capital does not always arrive, and programs described here may be altered or may never begin. Nothing on this site should be read as a commitment to a future outcome.
No advice
Nothing here is investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and reading it creates no adviser relationship of any kind. Investing in private companies carries a real risk of losing everything you put in. Talk to your own advisers before you do anything.
